Wilson is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder in which copper accumulates in tissues, which manifests as a neurological or psychiatric symptoms and liver disease. It is a drug that reduces copper absorption or removes excess copper in the body, but sometimes a liver transplant is required. This condition is caused by mutations in the gene for Wilson disease protein. The main locations are the accumulation of copper in the liver and brain. People with this disease develop a copper ring around her iris. (Part of the eye) are for different treatments for Wilson's disease are available. Some increase in extraction of copper from the body, while others inhibit copper absorption from food. In general, a diet that is recommended little copper content of foods (mushrooms, nuts, chocolate, nuts, liver and shellfish).

In general, penicillamine is the first treatment to be used. The copper-binding (chelation) and produces copper excretion in the urine.
Liver transplantation is the only cure for Wilson's disease, but it is used only in certainScenarios, due to numerous risks and complications associated with the procedure. It is primarily in patients with fulminant hepatic failure do not respond to medical treatment or used in patients with advanced chronic liver disease. Liver transplantation is the neuro-psychiatric avoid grave, where his performance was not demonstrated.

Saw a drama, and the man had Wilson's disease. Well, what of all this, that is Wilson's disease, such as when a person has difficulty controlling his actions. and constantly trembling, and hesitantly (arms begin) to tremble, and sometimes not even walk straight. Very bad side effects or something. Also in the drama of a different liver can be given by someone in the family, because there were others who were willing to donate his liver. and can be developed or need later in life. It has not always start when you're young, and usually you can get from the genes or by their parents or something inherited. and I'm sure it is not contagious. But the drama, the people lived. + I hope your family is right:).

There is an accumulation of copper in the liver. Your body needs a certain amount of copper capacity. obtained by the different foods we eat. Unfortunately, people with Wilson's disease can not properly rid the amount of copper in the blood.

Interestingly, I read about Wilson's disease. I had opened a few tabs on this issue. Here are some links below.

Wilson's disease is a genetic disease characterized by accumulation of copper in the body due to a defect of biliary copper excretion.
